Elected Positions

1. Vorstand (President) and Trachten Mutter (Costume Mother):

    Dieter & Sheila Wolter

have has been Active members for 37 & 38 years respectively. Dieter has held many positions in the Vereine and has been our 1. Vorstand for the past 25 years. Sheila has been our Trachten Mutter for the past 15 years.

has been an active member for 38 years . Arnold was the 2.Vorplattler for 2 years and now holds the position of 2. Vorstand for the past 7 years. He has taken on the responsibilities of various committees within the Verein and has always executed them well. Arnie is the Housing Committee Chairman for our Gaufest. He has an unrelenting commitment and understands Housing needs and the Gaufest room usage, he will be an immeasurable asset to the committee.

has been an active member for 32 years. Bob has been our Treasurer for the past 29 years. He is also the former Treasurer for the Reading Liederkranz and still helps out at the Oktoberfest.

Sekretärin (Secretary): Erika Moore

has been an Active member for 32 years serving on various committees and has been our Secretary for the past 11 years. Erika is serving as our Gift & Souvenir Committee Chairwoman for our Gaufest. She served as our Gift & Souvenir Chairperson for our 50. Stiftungsfest (Anniversary), with this past experience she has the contacts already established and is ready to fulfill all our souvenir needs.

has been an active member for the past 40 years and has been 1. Vorplattler for the past 29 years. Robin is the Chairman for our Gaufest. He is also currently the chairman of many of our large events and in the past he served as the chairman of the Reading Liederkaranz Oktoberfest, which draws several thousand people, for 9 years. In 1999 Robin served as chairman of our 50. Stiftungsfest and Fahnenweihe. Robin is very focused and committed to making this one of the most memorable Gaufest’s ever. With his leadership skills we will have a very organized and enjoyable event in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

has been an active member for 21 years and has been 2. Vorplattler for the past 8 years. Karl is the Co-Chairman and Food & Beverage Committee Chairman for our Gaufest. He was a director of a large kitchen in a Health Care facility and has continually worked in the food service industry for the past 13 years. His qualifications will ensure the smooth implementation of the committees and Gaufest's Food and Beverage needs.

Fahnenträger (Flag Bearer): Brian Orth

has been an Active dancer for 8 years, he has competed in Einzelpreisplattlen. Brian is an avid Schafkopf player so at the 21. Gaufest when he is not running Fahnenträger meeting, lining-up the Parade of Flags or carrying our own Fahne he will be in charge of the Schafkopf Tournier.

1. Vortanzerein (Lead Woman Dancer): Heidi Orth

has been an active Dancer for 16 years. She began in the Kinder Gruppe grew up with the Verein and now is giving back as our 1. Vortanzerein helping our 1. Vorplattler. Heidi has a Financial Background and will be an asset to the 21. Gaufest as our Financial Committee Chairwoman.

has been an active Dancer for 15 years. Amanda began in the Kinder Gruppe grew up with the Verein and now is giving back by assisting with the Teaching of with our Kinder Gruppe and assisting our 1. Vortanzerein.

has been a Active member for 40 years. Marlis is vital member of many committees in the Verein, and has been the Edelweiss Attendance Chairman for the past 28 years. She has a professionally trained background in Floral Design at which she has been employed at for 31 years. Her extensive background will serve her well as the Gaufest Decoration Committee Chairwoman.
